LAN Party

A LAN party is a party where people bring their own computers, hook them up, and game with eachother. Also involves mass consumption of caffeine and junk food.

Tell us what consoles and games you are bringing/want to play on the event page below!

Bring some snacks and drinks (no alcohol). We will have plates of Tyer's famous Tri-Tip, Mashed Potatoes and Corn for around 5 dollars per plate. Make sure to tell us (on the event page) if you want a plate so we know how many to make. Please RSVP:

Guest Speaker Jay Freeman (saurik)

Jay Freeman, part-time UCSB CCS Computing Instructor and developer of Cydia (the alternative to the App Store for jaibroken iOS devices), will be giving a presentation on the ways software interacts with hardware.

Normally, such a presentation is given at exclusive conferences, so we are very fortunate to have this talk available to us!

We've reserved a large lecture hall and invite our members and other interested parties to come!
